IQAir air filters
IQAir is the highest rated filter on the market today. For the Health
Pro series, there are three different types of filters. They include
a Pre-Filter, a V5-Cell Gas and Odor Filter and of course the Hyper
HEPA Filter. Each unit comes with both the Pre-Filter and Hyper HEPA
filter with the V5-Cell Gas and Odor Filter as an optional upgrade.
Austin Air air filters
These filters have one of the longest lives in the air purifier industry.
They are guaranteed to last for 5 years and are backed by a pro-rated
warranty. Additionally, each unit in the HM200 and HM 400 series comes
able to be outfitted with three different kinds of filters. The Standard
is an all around filter while the HEGA is primarily designed for gases
and smoke. Finally, the SuperBlend offers protection for the chemically
sensitive by using carbon impregnated with potassium iodide.
BlueAir air filters
BlueAir offers two types of filters for each of the units available.
The first is the Particle Filter Kit which is primarily for particulate
control while the SmokeStop Filter Kit is made specifically for contol
of smoke and gasous contaminants. Both filter sets are made from polypropylene
to prevent bacterial or pathogen growth upon the filters
Honeywell air filter
Honeywell filters are probably the most
common HEPA filter around today. The large variety of units offer
several kinds of filters, including the Platinum series HEPA-type
filters, the permanent IFD filters, and of course the true HEPA versions.
Activated carbon prefilters may be used in conjunction with most of
these to aid in purification.
Hunter air filters
Hunter has two kinds of available filters on thier units. The HEPAtech
series for general particulate reduction and the Quietflo series which
offers true HEPA filtration.
